James Coscia joined Block O’Toole & Murphy as an associate attorney in 2024 after having focused his practice on representing individuals injured in construction and other types of accidents resulting in serious injury. With a passion for justice and a relentless dedication to his clients, Mr. Coscia has earned a reputation as a fierce advocate in the legal community.
Mr. Coscia completed his undergraduate studies at Seton Hall University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and communication in 2015. He furthered his education through law school, earning his juris doctor from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law where he distinguished himself as a standout student. As a member of the Drexel Law Review and participant in the Leadership Fellows Mentorship Program, he demonstrated his commitment to excellence and service within the legal community. While at Drexel, Mr. Coscia participated in pro bono programs, engaged in a number of hands-on practical courses, and interned at one of the top personal injury firms in Philadelphia. Upon graduating, he received the Faculty Award for Academic Success, reflecting his exceptional dedication to his studies and the field of law. James is licensed to practice law in both New York and New Jersey.
From the outset of his legal career, Mr. Coscia recognized the unique challenges faced by those injured in construction accidents and kept up to date with the ever-changing field and updates in the law. Determined to make a difference, he worked to hone his skills and expertise to specialize in New York Labor Law, setting the foundation for the future success of his clients. He approaches each case with tenacity and determination to secure justice on behalf of those he represents. Mr. Coscia understands the devastating impact that serious injuries can have on individuals and their families and works tirelessly to secure the compensation and support they deserve.
